Holographic security

Diaures has launched one of the most innovative and design-conscious solutions against counterfeiting: HLL line, a holographic film that ensures a high level of security but is totally transparent.

Holographic transparent film was already present on the market, but obtained through extremely complicated and costly technologies for protecting the embossing effect: for example, metallisation with special salts or de-metallisation by eliminating the metal on the already embossed film in order to obtain a transparent film with a persistent holographic effect. Both technologies, though efficient, proved to be incapable of answering the market’s demands, thereby ensuring that the product was used in niche areas only.

Thanks to the synergy within the different divisions of the group, Diaures has succeeded in setting up a line of products that combine the security of holographic embossing with the total transparency of the film, all at industrial costs, thereby allowing penetration of the consumer goods market.

The Diaures Group has three main divisions that cover all market needs:

• Mechanical, for manufacturing the embossing machines and coating plants
• Holographic, which has long-term experience, particularly in counterfeiting
• Self-adhesive products, producing over 150 million items per year

The higher guarantee of security that Diaures offers its customers is the assurance that, thanks to the integrated production system of the group, the entire production cycle remains inside the company, from the origination of the master, with customised logo, to the manufacture of the end product, with an infinite range of finishings.

The finished masters are registered by the International Hologram Manufacturers Association to guarantee the integrity and rigour of Diaures’ work.
