Packaged to resist counterfeiting

Packaging manufacturer Hueck Folien combines a specialist focus on the pharmaceutical market with in-house expertise in security features for banknotes and documents, offering the optimal solution for protecting pharmaceutical products. Using both visible and invisible features guarantees effective protection and security for products and brands, by for example, means of micro-printing, guilloches, UV fluorescence or holograms.

A higher level of protection against counterfeiting can be achieved by using additional security features, such as printing the brand or product name in precision register. This can be further enhanced with magnetic coding and DNA features, which can be verified using the corresponding readers and detectors.

The latest security feature from Hueck Folien, and one of the most effective, is ColorSwitch, which was developed jointly with Identif and is produced exclusively by Hueck Folien. It offers an easily recognisable and attractive colour change that cannot be copied and can be optically coded for identification purposes. ColorSwitch can also be applied to blisters and folding packs.
