In response to demand for effective and affordable anticounterfeit solutions, XSYS Print Solutions has developed a portfolio of printing inks. The HolographINK Process™ is a speciality imaging process that provides an eye-catching holographic effect. It can be used for decorative, brand recognition, security or anticounterfeiting applications.

The single-component process can create countless holographic colours and patterns, with fine detail and accurate positioning on a broad choice of print substrates. XSYS also offers an established library of holographic images, which can be licensed with guaranteed exclusivity to a single end-user, particularly useful to brandowners for product authentication.

In partnership with Microtrace LLC, XSYS delivers a traceable, anticounterfeit ink technology to the Narrow Web tag and label industry. Microtaggant® Security Inks allow printers to easily apply the anticounterfeit technology to printed materials using flexographic or screenprinting processes. It is a unique numeric code sequence in a multicoloured layer format, delivering layers of security through a single microscopic particle.

XSYS offers a tailor-made UV-curable ink system that can be applied using flexographic or rotary screen technology. Unlike other security inks, Microtaggant Security Inks are formulated with unique Microtaggant encoded particles that are certified and registered to each customer or application. These inks are applied to the label and can be easily read and decoded with a hand-held reader or scanner.
