ReadiLYCOAT
ready-to-use coating systems allow tablets to
be coated
quickly and to a high standard. Moreover, LYCOAT
film
coating polymer has been shown to exhibit exceptional
inertness, where other coating polymers have failed.
Among other fillers and binders, the company
offers the
most extended range of polyols, including PEARLITOL
mannitol, NEOSORB sorbitol powder and solution,
SweetPearl
maltitol, LYCASIN maltitol solution and XYLISORB
xylitol. New
grades have been introduced to fulfil the requirements

tablets with a pleasant taste and texture can
be formulated
easily with new directly compressible polyols

and orodispersible tablets have never been so
easily produced.
The GLYCOLYS range of superdisintegrants has
been
produced for over 30 years and used successfully
in tablet and
capsule formulations. The LYCATAB range of binders
offers a
solution to wet granulation processes, whichever
granulators
are used. Multifunctional and compounded excipients
have
also been developed to match industry needs for
simpler
formulas. PEARLITOL Flash and StarLac are two
compounds
used in, for example, attractive orodispersible
tablet formulas
and for nutraceutical purposes.
KLEPTOSE cyclodextrins are efficient solubilisation
enhancers and taste-masking agents. A full range
is
available, from native to hydroxypropyl cyclodextrins,
for use in many dosage forms, from solid to liquid.
