  • DuPont Performance Materials has a broad range of medical device materials, including Delrin®, Hytrel®, Crastin® and Zytel® polymer families. These materials are backed by testing, regulatory review, and DuPont resources who work with customers on material specification through manufacturing.
  • DuPont™ Kalrez® perfluoroelastomer parts provide best in class high performance seals for pharmaceutical production processes, medical packaging and disposable devices. They resist over 1,800 different chemicals, while offering the high temperature stability of PTFE (327°C), making them the ideal solution for improving productivity as well as creating a safer environment in the day to day running of a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility.
  • DuPont™ Vespel® Polyimide (PI) parts and shapes help overcome severe wear and friction challenges associated to the most performing and advanced power medical instruments, used throughout nearly all surgical procedures. Typical examples of application are bearing cages for dentistry and other special internal wear components of high speed drills which must meet exceptional levels of safety, precision and reliability to guarantee patient safety and high quality surgical procedure while extending the life of the device and lowering the cost of operation.
